Parent Booster Organization
We are blessed at Rising Curtain to have an active Parent Booster Organization. The Parent
Boosters are divided into committees such as:
Concessions: this committee is responsible for purchasing concessions if needed and
gathering donations of concessions. Members will take concessions to the performance
facilities for all classes, set up & clean up concession sales.
Box Office/ Ticket Sales: this committee is responsible for selling tickets before & during all
events.
Hospitality: hospitality volunteers help with remembering birthdays for all students & faculty,
bringing food and beverages to special events (such as parade day or special rehearsals) and
handling acknowledgement of special happenings at our school.
Marketing: Marketing volunteers will handle getting the word out to the press about our shows &
events as well as gathering advertisements for the school programs (by season).
Facility: the facility committee is responsible for making sure our rented facilities are set up for
shows & events and for cleaning up after.

children's friends and their families, too!

| Wish List Here is a current wish list of supplies and items needed for our school and our shows: Fabric for costumes (always wanted & appreciated ) Gift Certificates to Lowes, etc. purchase items for our Tech Department Gift Certificates to Lowe's, etc. or Products- Paint for our Tech Department Old Jewelry, especially brooches for ladies Hats of any period Furniture- needs change as show requirements change- check with us Copying for a variety of purposes Printing Services Stamps for our office Gift Certificates to Grocery Stores, Sam's Club, etc. for outfitting all of our school events A Building (if you happen to have a spare) Performance Space (ALWAYS needed) Donations for Student Scholarships Chips, Candy Bars, Candy, Soda for our concessions committee Gift certificates to office supply stores Anything you can think of to bless our tired & VALUED staff Gift Cards to Walgreens & Archivers or Your Crop Shop in Arvada for supplying our photo boards & books |
