by audition only. for students ages 9-adult Auditions are May 23-24 by appointment only. In this Broadway musical based on the play "Pygmalion" by George Bernard Shaw, Professor Henry Higgins, takes a bet from Colonel Pickering that he can transform unrefined, dirty Cockney flower girl Eliza Doolittle into a lady. He does, and thus young aristocrat Freddy Eynsford-Hill falls madly in love with her. But when Higgins takes all the credit and forgets to acknowledge her efforts, Eliza angrily leaves him for Freddy, and suddenly Higgins realizes he's grown "accustomed to her face" and can't really live without it. Wonderful roles for adults and teens and a fabulous show to be part of the ensemble. Rehearsals are Tuesdays and Thursdays June 3rd- July 24th, 6:00-8:30 p.m. Performances will be August 1st-3rd at the D.L. Parsons Theater in Northglenn. Attendance is required for all dress rehearsals July 28th-31st the evenings. Tuition- $385.00, payable in installments. | My daughter has worked with Rising Curtain for many years now. She has grown professionally and well as personally. Our lives are the richer for having been involved with the school. |
| "For me, Rising Curtain has been a place of growth. I have not only seen my talents as an actress soar to new heights, but I can also proudly say that who I am as a person, what I believe, has over the years been cemented with the help of all of the students and staff at Rising Curtain. At Rising Curtain, you feel like dreams are possible. Not only because you are allowed and free to dream as big as humanly possible, but also because there are people in this place that will help you, to the best of their ability, to help you reach them. At Rising Curtain, I am home." -Kelly , RC Student |
